quotes NOTHING wrong with those kids at all. I get straight a's as well in school and in snowboarding, my parents bought me my first board and gear and i got really good fast and trained an rode all the time (as does you friend with biking/rugby) and stuck with it and since then they support me fully in all the things i do because they trust i will "stick with it." Although i did buy my bike and gear myself but thats because i wanted the experience of a job and the skills that come with it. I didnt mention these kinds of kids merely because i didnt think of it, no harm meant.

quotes that makes sense and it was wind that day to which might be why my front wheel drifted to the right

quotes norcalrider16 has it right. Thats exactly how my parents are too. My parents could have easily bought all my gear and my bike for me but they didnt i had to save up and purchase it myself. Its the thought behind making your kid buy his own stuff that teaches them to value things and take care of things instead of having the mindset that "its broken? who cares my parents will just get me a new one." Although im totally cool with kids that get stuff bought for them by their parents as long as they still respect that stuff and dont trash it because its technically not theirs
